Mrs. Julie Ekman - Herrick Social Worker

Julie Ekman is the social worker for students in 7th and 8th grade. She began her career as a family therapist. As a school social worker, she has worked with students with ages ranging from preschool to middle school. She has a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Masters in both Social Work and School Leadership. She is the sponsor for Board Game Club, Snowflake, and Recycling Club. She also has run an animal assisted canine therapy group at Herrick for a select number of students.
